Christian Reader is committed to excellence in all we do. This commitment especially applies to customer service. Unfortunately (because we are human, too!) there may be situations where an order could be inaccurate, incomplete or damaged by mistake. We also realize that, for whatever reason, products may fail to meet your expectations. We have developed the following guidelines for these situations:
If you receive a product from us that is damaged, please inform us so a replacement may be sent. Please do not return defective items unless requested. Shipping fees for defective items returned without our request are not eligible for a refund.
If the order you received from us is incomplete or contains products you did not order, please email us. If your order was incorrectly packed, we will send the correct or missing product as quickly as possible.
In the event that you wish for a different item (or size) than purchased, you may return your order in sellable condition (package well to avoid damage in transit) within 30 days for an even exchange. Please note that in order to receive an even exchange, items must be received in sellable, unaltered condition. Please include $5 to cover a portion of the costs to ship the exchange item to you. Products must be returned in sellable condition within this time period to receive an exchange. Books must be returned in a box; no envelopes, please. Shirts may be returned in a Tyvek envelope. Postage/shipping fees are not eligible for a refund/exchange.
In the event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return your order in sellable condition (package well to avoid damage in transit) within 30 days for a refund, minus a 10% restocking fee. Products must be returned in sellable condition within this time period to receive a refund. Please include an order number or your original order confirmation with your return for prompt processing. Products must also be shipped in a trackable manner (with tracking number sent to our Customer Service) to qualify for any refund on items that might be lost in return transit.
Packages returned due to "Refused/Refusal" will incur a $10 fee. Store credit may be issued at the discretion of customer service.
PLEASE NOTE: Audio/Visual and Multimedia resources (DVDs, CDs, DVD-Roms) may be returned for exchange only if unopened; opened Audio/Visual or Multimedia resources are not eligible for a refund due to copyright infringement concerns.

If an order is returned to us because of an error in the shipping address given at the time the order was placed, the order will be reshipped only after the customer pays to have it reshipped. This cost will be determined by Customer Service, and will cover the cost to reship as well as the cost USPS charged to return the package to us. If the customer does not want the package reshipped, the refund will be processed less the 10% restocking fee and less the cost USPS charged to return the package back to us. If an order is returned to us because of a shipping error on our part, the package will be reshipped at no additional cost.
Please carefully confirm your address and purchase is correct prior to submitting your order, as once an order is submitted it is typically unable to be altered or changed.

In-stock orders typically ship within 1 - 5 business days following date of order receipt, which occurs the business day following payment processing at 11pm PST on the date the order is submitted.
In the case of a preorder or backorder, an additional 9-14 business days may be required to fulfill the order. Should we be informed of a longer estimate of time, we will attempt contact.
So that we may fulfill each order more promptly and efficiently serve each customer, orders containing a preorder or backordered item will ship upon availability of all items ordered unless the "Ship Items as Available" shipping option is selected during checkout.
All shipping methods (2-Day, 3-Day, Overnight, Ground, Priority, Media, First Class) indicate an in-transit once shipped time-frame. This does not include our stated in-warehouse processing time-frame. Please consider this when selecting your shipping method; if an item is required within a certain time period, please add the in-transit time-frame to the in-house time-frame for an estimated date of arrival. We highly recommend only UPS options should there be a receipt date requirement, as only UPS guarantees an in-transit timeframe of under 8 business days.
Your method of payment will be charged at the time of submission to ensure your place in line for these limited edition, special order products. Our actual cost shipping charges through UPS and USPS are determined by the total weight of your order, excluding applicable sales tax, from Fulfillment Zip to Destination Zip.
Flat rate and per item (Ship as Available) options are also available and will ship by Patriot Depot's method of choice: typically through a postal consolidation company which will provide tracking from start to finish by use of your order number. This postal consolidation company will process your order from pickup at our warehouse to delivery at your local postal office unit; the USPS then enters the package into their system. At this time, the USPS carrier is given the package to deliver to the destination address within 1-2 postal delivery days. Please note this ensures a greater rate of delivery than packages shipped completely through USPS. PLEASE NOTE: Your order will ship through USPS methods, but will not be traceable through USPS.com -- only through entry of your order number on the link provided in the email notification of shipment.
Some products cannot be shipped to international destinations, so please submit a message to us if you would like to discuss international ordering options if your order will not process through our store.
