The author has done an excellent job of relating the message of Hebrews and other Bible scripture into the life with live and relate that to what an athlete endures in training. One of the best written books that I have read that puts the meaning of scripture into application of what an athlete endures during the course of his/her training. The applications also apply to what disciples need to do to spread the Word to others. A disciple must endure many things in taking the Word to others and must remember to run with endurance. This book does a phenomenal job of reminding us of that message through the struggles of an athelete.
